You want the TONI or Raven’s Progressive Matrices, in addition to any other test. If there is a discrepancy between the two scores, that has to be taken into account when finding for LD. And, the diagnoses that schools provide are only useful if you can get the accommodations you want. If the IEP isn’t working, look into a 504 plan.
